Since its establishment in 1886, The Dairy Farm Group has a long history of serving the communities in which it operates.

The Group is participating in MINDSET, a philanthropic initiative launched in 2002 by our parent company, the Jardine Matheson Group, which aims to raise awareness of mental health issues and provide practical support in this sector. The Group is also a long-time supporter of the Community Chest's Corporate Contribution Programme, with proceeds going towards its mental health agencies.

Dairy Farm marked its 120th anniversary in 2006 by sponsoring the conversion of the last two remaining Dairy Farm cowsheds in Pokfulam into a performance venue, named the Wellcome Theatre. The multi-purpose theatre serves as a performance venue and training facilities for The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
