Michael Kok, Group Chief Executive

Mr Kok was appointed Group Chief Executive of Dairy Farm on 1st April 2007. Mr Kok joined Dairy Farm in 1987, and was responsible for the Group's retail businesses in Singapore, Malaysia, India and Indonesia. Mr Kok has over 30 years' experience in retailing in Asia. He is a member of the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing, and attended the Senior Executive Programme at London Business School and the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Howard Mowlem, Group Finance Director

Mr Mowlem was appointed as Group Finance Director in 2001. He first joined the Group in 2000 as Finance Director, North Asia. He previously held a number of senior financial positions in the Australian retail sector. Mr Mowlem is a Fellow of the Australia Society of CPAs.

Chan Wai-Chan, Regional Director, North Asia / Chief Executive Officer, China

Dr Chan Wai-Chan was appointed Regional Director, North Asia in January 2008.

Apart from the Regional Director role, Dr Chan has also taken on the newly created position of CEO, Dairy Farm China, overseeing the strategic development of the Group's 7-Eleven and Mannings businesses in mainland China.

Before joining the Group, Dr Chan was a Principal (Partner) at McKinsey & Co where he was the Leader of the Greater China Retail and Consumer Goods Practice as well as the Asian Leader of Global Sourcing and Supplier Management Practice. He has worked successfully with numerous major international and local retailers in China in areas of strategy, operations, organization, M&A and turnarounds over the past 14 years.

Dato' John Coyle, Regional Director, East Asia

Dato' John Coyle was appointed Regional Director, East Asia on 1st January 2007 covering Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Brunei. In 2006, Dato' John Coyle was honoured with the DIMP award conferred by His Royal Highness Sultan of the State of Pahang.

Dato' John Coyle joined GCH Retail (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd as Country Manager in January 2002 and had overall responsibility for GCH Retail, Malaysia's leading retail chain, which operates Giant hypermarkets, Cold Storage stores and Guardian health and beauty stores. Prior to joining GCH Retail, Dato' John Coyle worked in South Africa as Managing Director of 20 hypermarkets, 21 furniture supermarkets and 30 supermarkets.

Caroline Mak, Group Specialty Retail Director

Ms Mak was appointed as Group Specialty Retail Director in February 2007 overseeing health and beauty private label development, and IKEA home furnishings business in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Ms Mak also acts as an advisor for all health and beauty business in Dairy Farm.

Prior to her current role, Ms Mak joined Dairy Farm as CEO for Mannings in January 2000 after six years as Managing Director for IKEA Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Jeff Shaw, Regional Director, South Asia

Mr Shaw was appointed Regional Director, South Asia on 1st January 2007 with responsibilities for the Group's retail operations in Singapore and India under several formats, namely: Cold Storage supermarket, Shop n Save, Giant hypermarket, 7-Eleven convenience stores, Guardian health and beauty, Tanglin Market Place, Paragon Market Place, Jasons Market Place, Naturally Market Place, Health and Glow and Foodworld.

Mr Shaw has had a wealth of 34 years' experience in the retail business and previously held several senior management positions in the Tradegro Group in South Africa prior to joining the Dairy Farm Group in 1990.
